CHESTNUT HILL, Mass. — Ky Bowman was selected to the 2018-19 Preseason All-Atlantic Coast Conference first team, it was announced today by the league office as part of the ACC's Operation Basketball event held this week in Charlotte.
Bowman - the Nation's Most Dynamic Guard - was the only player in the country to average at least 17.6 points, 6.8 rebounds, and 4.7 assists during the 2017-18 season. The Havelock, N.C. native was recently named to the preseason watch list for the 2018-19 Bob Cousy Point Guard of the Year award.
Last season, Bowman was the only player in the ACC to rank among the top 11 in the league in scoring, rebounding, and assists.
