After 5 years as a Boston College athlete (1 playing hockey, 1 playing lacrosse, and 3 playing both), Kenzie Kent is already a Boston College legend. Her dedication to her school and her teams have earned her this year’s “Female Player Who Best Embodies the Characteristics of a Boston College Eagle” award, beating out fellow nominees Megan Keller (hockey), Jackie Urbinati (tennis), and Serena Sommerfield (hockey).
After playing only hockey last year, Kent spent a fifth year at BC this year so that she could devote a full season to lacrosse. She helped lead BC to another undefeated regular season, and to a third straight NCAA Championship game.
