CHESTNUT HILL, Mass. – Megan Keller scored 1 minute, 58 seconds into overtime, powering the No. 9/9 Boston College women's hockey team to a 4-3 victory over Merrimack on Friday at Kelley Rink. Keller and Caitrin Lonergan each scored twice for BC in the win.
The teams combined for three goals in the opening five minutes. It seemed it would be all BC, as Megan Keller and Lonergan staked the Eagles to a 2-0 lead but 22 seconds after Lonergan's short-handed tally, the Warriors pulled a goal back. Merrimack's second power-play goal of the game early in the second tied it up, 2-2.
