Keller, Anastos Honored by New England Hockey Writers

CHESTNUT HILL, Mass. – A pair of Boston College women's hockey players have been acknowledged for outstanding 2016-17 seasons by the New England Hockey Writers (NEHW). The NEHW's annual All-Star Team and superlative awards were released earlier today, and the honorees will be recognized at the association's banquet on Tuesday, April 11 at the Prince Restaurant in Saugus, Mass.

Junior defenseman Megan Keller was recognized as the Most Valuable Player in New England by the NEHW, while both she and senior forward Andie Anastos earned places on the New England All-Star Team.

Keller, who was Hockey East's only All-American and Patty Kazmaier Award Top 10 Finalist, also made history as the league's first defenseman to be voted conference Player of the Year.
