CHESTNUT HILL, Mass. – Zach Keiser scored with 1:45 left in regulation to snap a 2-2 deadlock on Friday night and 14th-ranked UMass Lowell took three Hockey East points with a 3-2 road victory over Boston College at Kelley Rink.
The River Hawks (15-6-3, 12-5-1 HEA) extended their lead atop the league standings, while the Eagles dropped to 10-13-4 (5-9-3 HEA).
Sophomore Trevor Kuntar led Boston College with a goal and an assist, while classmate Gentry Shamburger posted his first collegiate goal. Eric Dop stopped 27 of the 30 shots he faced in net.
