CHESTNUT HILL, Mass. – Boston College sophomore quarterback Phil Jurkovec was granted immediate eligibility from the NCAA on Tuesday. Jurkovec transferred to Boston College in January from Notre Dame. He will have three seasons of eligibility with the Eagles.
Jurkovec and the Eagles begin preseason camp Thursday morning in Chestnut Hill.
In six games for the Fighting Irish in 2019, Jurkovec was 12-of-16 passing for 222 yards and two touchdowns. He also rushed for 130 yards and averaged 5.9 yards per carry as Notre Dame's backup quarterback.
