RICHMOND, Va. — Boston College Baseball (5-2, 0-0) took game one of the weekend with a 7-2 win over Richmond (3-6, 0-0) on Friday afternoon.
John West (Shrewsbury, Mass.) started on the bump for the Eagles and earned his first win of the season (1-1), tossing six scoreless innings with six strikeouts, five hits, and just two walks.
The offense opened up in the second inning, with Sam McNulty (Cambridge, Mass.) putting the Eagles up 2-0 on a two-RBI single through the left infield.
