Yesterday, the Lehigh Valley Phantoms announced that they have signed John Muse to a one year AHL contract for the 2017-18 season. Muse, who won 2 NCAA Championships with Boston College, has spent the past 6 seasons splitting time between the AHL and ECHL. The Phantoms are the AHL affiliate of the Philadelphia Flyers (NHL) and the Reading Royals (ECHL).
This past season, Muse played for the Rochester Americans (AHL) and the now-defunct Elmira Jackals (ECHL). He maintained a .925 save percentage for the Jackals and had a .907 save percentage with Rochester. Muse has previously played for the Charlotte Checkers, Texas Stars, and Portland Pirates in the AHL and the Florida Everblades and Fort Wayne Comets in the ECHL.
