CHESTNUT HILL, Mass. – The Boston College men's basketball team lost its first game of the season on Wednesday night, falling to IUPUI, 76-69, in the second of four games in the Fort Myers Tipoff.
The Jaguars outscored Boston College 40-27 in the second half to move to 2-1 on the season while BC dropped to 2-1.
IUPUI held a 19-4 advantage in fast break points and won the battle on the boards, 40-28. Camron Justice led IUPUI with 29 points, including a perfect 13-of-13 from the foul line.
The Eagles and Jaguars were knotted 2-2 at the first media timeout but Ky Bowman knocked down a jumper and a three-pointer to push it out to 7-2.
