CHESTNUT HILL, Mass. – The UConn Huskies used a third-period goal from Briana Colangelo and held off a comeback from the No. 6/6 Boston College women's hockey team for a 2-1 win on Friday afternoon at Kelley Rink.
opened the scoring midway through the first period to give the Eagles a 1-0 lead. The Huskies, though, would strike early in the second period and then found the back of the net six minutes into the final frame for a 2-1 lead. BC would go on to fire 20 shots on goal in the final frame and limit UConn to just two, but the visitors held off the attack.
