On Saturday, as two teams, Boston College and Florida State, play a game we’ll remember a man who put the team first, when there was much more than a game at stake. Boston College will be honoring the memory of Welles Crowther, a BC alum who gave his life on September 11th, saving at least a dozen people from the south tower of the World Trade Center. BC will also be honoring other members of the BC community for exemplifying the school’s motto of Men and Women for others.
