AMESBURY, Mass. – Hockey East announced on Monday that Boston College women's hockey goaltender Abigail Levy has been named the league's Stop It Goaltending Goaltender of the Week.
Levy stopped all 42 shots she faced on Friday night in BC's 3-0 win over #11 Providence. Levy made at least 10 saves in every period, including 17 in the first frame and 15 in the second, en route to her fourth shutout of the season and 15th of her career. The shutout victory also marked the 50th career win for the Congers, N.Y. native.
