BOSTON – Boston College women's hockey has been tabbed to finish sixth in Hockey East this season, according to the Preseason Coaches' Poll released on Tuesday morning at the league's annual Media Day at TD Garden.
The Eagles received 58 points in the poll, which picked Northeastern to win the league with 88 points and eight first place votes. Vermont (75) and Providence (74) were separated by a single point in second and third place, respectively.
UConn received 65 points in fourth place, while Boston University was a single point ahead of BC in fifth.
