NEWTON, Mass. – The 10-ranked Boston College field hockey defeated Northeastern, 2-1, Friday evening at Newton Campus Field Hockey Complex. Junior broke the 1-1 tie in the 65 minute to lift the Eagles to their 10 win of the season.
Senior assisted on both BC goals, tying a career high. Freshman scored the first goal of the game in the first half. The Eagles (10-5) improved to 9-0 when scoring first and 6-0 when taking a lead into halftime. They are perfect against non-conference opponents.
BC topped the Huskies (7-7) for the 11 time in the last 13 meetings.
