CHESTNUT HILL, Mass. – Senior defensive end Harold Landry was named to Athlon Magazine's Preseason All-America first team, the magazine released Tuesday. Landry was one of Athlon's eight All-America first team selections from the ACC, tying for the most of any conference along with the SEC.
Landry finished 2016 as the nation's leader in sacks (16.5) and forced fumbles (7) on his way to earning All-America accolades from the Associated Press and Walter Camp Football Foundation. The North Carolina native was also fifth in the nation and second in the ACC with 22.0 tackles-for-loss.
