Hanlan Drafted By Utah Jazz

CHESTNUT HILL, Mass. – Boston College guard Olivier Hanlan was selected by the Utah Jazz with the 42nd overall pick in the second round of the 2015 NBA Draft.

Hanlan is the ninth Boston College player to be drafted since 1989, the first year of the current two-round format. He is the third second-round pick in that time and the fifth second-round selection all-time. Craig Smith (2006) and Howard Eisley (1994) are the other two second round picks since 1989.

Hanlan became the fifth Boston College player to earn First Team All-ACC accolades this past year and was also named an Honorable Mention Associated Press All-American.
