NEWTON, MASS. – A Fusine Govaert fourth period goal lifts the No. 10 Boston College field hockey team over the No. 4 Duke Blue Devils on Friday, Nov. 1 at the Newton Field Hockey Complex.
The win improves BC to 11-6 on the season and 4-2 in ACC play. The four wins is the most conference wins for the Eagles since joining the ACC.
The Eagles started off slow, only taking one shot in the first half to Duke's three, but Sarah Dwyer stood tall in goal, making two first-half saves.
