CHESTNUT HILL, Mass. – Throughout the week, Boston College Athletics celebrated the best of its best for the 2019-20 season as part of the fifth annual Golden Eagle Awards. Due to the coronavirus pandemic, the end-of-the-year celebration was held virtually, through a series of videos that appeared on BC Athletics' social media outlets.
This afternoon, David Cotton from men's hockey and Emma Guy from women's basketball were announced as the recipients of the event's highest honor, the Nathaniel J. Hasenfus Eagle of the Year Award.
The athletics department named several major award winners, including Rookie of the Year, Rising Leader, Unsung Hero, and Team of the Year.
