With Spencer Knight — considered by some to be the greatest American goaltending prospect ever — already committed to Boston College this fall, Jerry York added another goalie prospect to the pipeline, securing a commitment this week from Henry Wilder, a 2001-born goalie.
Wilder is ranked #14 among North American goalies in this year’s draft rankings, and is described by HockeyProspect.com’s Russ Bitely as an “athletic tender, technically sound in positioning & rebound cntl, good glove, makes good reads.”
Wilder is a local kid — from Needham, MA — currently plying his trade at Hotchkiss School (Salisbury, CT) in local prep hockey.
