For a while, Boston College Women’s Hockey’s game on Saturday looked like a carbon copy of Friday’s — an early BC lead in a decent first period, a disappointing second period that saw UConn tie it, and then a strong third period that appeared to be too-little-too-late.
But the Eagles flipped the script on Saturday, keeping UConn out of the net in the third period and finding one of their own very late to escape Storrs with a 2-1 win and salvage a win in the season series with the Huskies.

Boston College Goal #1: 6:10 of the 1st period
Cayla Barnes (Unassisted)
BC 1, UC 0
Boston College started out playing pretty well and scored fairly early in the game thanks to a great individual effort from Cayla Barnes.
