Last week, BC played its toughest opponent yet at home against then-5th ranked Northeastern. The Huskies played well, taking an early lead and staying within 1 goal of BC until a late empty netter sealed the deal. So well, in fact, that the pollsters moved the Huskies up to 4th despite the loss.
Since then, it's been a downward spiral for Northeastern. The Huskies were shut out against Harvard on Tuesday, and Saturday afternoon, despite outshooting the Eagles, Northeastern was picked apart and blown out at home by BC, 6-1.
