ATLANTA - The Boston College women's basketball team lost its first game of the season at Georgia Tech as the host Yellow Jackets captured an 86-68 victory on Wednesday at McCamish Pavilion.
BC (4-1, 0-1 ACC) could not overcome a hot shooting Georgia Tech (3-1, 1-0 ACC) team that hit on 61 percent of its shots in the first half.
Junior forward Taylor Soule led BC in scoring with 19 points, including her first career three-point field goal. Junior Makayla Dickens added 16 points and seven rebounds while junior Cameron Swartz had a strong showing with 14 points of her own.
