CHESTNUT HILL, Mass. - Ten of Boston College's athletic programs recorded a perfect multi-year Academic Progress Report (APR) score in a report released by the NCAA on Wednesday. Overall, BC saw its average APR increase almost two pull points since last year's release.
Each year, the NCAA tracks the classroom performance of student-athletes on every Division I team through the annual scorecard of academic achievement, known as APR. The score measures eligibility and retention each semester or quarter, and provides a clear picture of the academic culture in each sport.
The most recent APRs are multi-year rates based on scores from the 2010-11, 2011-12, 2012-13 and 2013-14 academic years.
