DEDHAM, Mass. – No. 12 Boston College (10-5, 1-3 ACC) started its week on the right foot, besting Northeastern (6-8, 2-2 CAA) in a tightly contested 4-3 bout on Tuesday afternoon.
The Eagles opened the first half firing on all cylinders, as Peyton Hale found the back of the net in the first five minutes of action off a penalty corner setup from Martina Giacchino and Margo Carlin. BC would tack on two more scores in the second quarter from the sticks of Kara Heck and Martina Giacchino to carry a 3-0 lead into the halftime break.
