Coming off a big conference win to open the season, Chestnut Hill was a little sleepy for Saturday’s game against the Richmond Spiders. Given the flawless weather and lopsided matchup, one could forgive those who lingered just a little bit longer in sun-soaked tailgating revelry.
The punctual among us were treated to a 46 yard touchdown rush by freshman phenom Zay Flowers on the opening drive. Flowers was electric, finishing the game with 92 yards on just 3 carries. BC added another first quarter score on an 84 yard drive. A 36 yard David Bailey run set up a 7 yard touchdown pass from Anthony Brown to tight end Korab Idrizi.
