Hanover, N.H. – The Boston College novice rowers placed third and sixth at the Green Monster Regatta on Sunday afternoon, rowing on the Connecticut River. For most of the freshman class, it was the first race as Eagles.
The BC "A" boat finished third in a time of 16:21.9, behind Dartmouth's "A" and "B" teams. Massachusetts' "A" and MIT Openweights finished fourth and fifth, respectively, and BC's "B" boat placed sixth in a time of 17:30.0.
UMass's "B", Vermont's "A", UMass's "C" and UVM's "B" rounded out the top 10.
