AMESBURY, Mass. – After winning the corresponding weekly awards on Monday, freshmen Jacob Fowler (Goaltender of the Month) and Ryan Leonard (Rookie of the Month) were named monthly award winners by Hockey East on Thursday.
Fowler earned his second straight Goaltender of the Month award after posting a 6-1-1 record in his eight starts during the month of November. The rookie netminder registered a 1.85 goals against average and a .939 save percentage, making a total of 231 saves. He collected his first collegiate shutout with a 31-save performance on Nov.
