CHESTNUT HILL, Mass. – The Boston College fencing program has placed four student-athletes on the Atlantic Coast Conference All-Academic teams, as announced Thursday by the conference.
Cameron Mayer, Spencer Kuldell, Bolang Meng and Gillian Lawlor each earned the recognition, which is based on academic and athletic achievement during the 2018-19 season.
Mayer, a finance major from Newton, Mass., finished tied for eighth in foil at the ACC Championships. The senior captain went on to place 11th at the NCAA Northeast Regional and was named the 2019 Northeast Fencing Conference Elliot Lilien Award winner.
