Chestnut Hill, Mass. - It was an eventful weekend for the Boston College football team, to say the least.
The Eagles dropped a tough contest against then-No. 9 Florida State, 14-0, on Friday, despite a tremendous display from its defense. However, the biggest loss might be the collateral damage of losing quarterback Darius Wade for the remainder of the season with a broken ankle.
It's a loss that has head coach Steve Addazio scrambling for a Plan B. With Addazio undecided on whether redshirt freshman Troy Flutie or true freshman Jeff Smith will get the nod, don't be surprised if both play against Northern Illinois this Saturday.
