Boston College football arrived at Fish Field House for its first preseason practice of the 2022 season on Friday morning. Third-year head coach Jeff Hafley and the Eagles got to work in helmets and spiders as they prepare to install a new offense under first-year offensive coordinator John McNulty.
Quarterback Phil Jurkovec led the offense into his third training camp with the team. Jurkovec, who was limited to six games due to injury a year ago, looked strong in the passing and running game. Preseason recognitions have rolled in for Jurkovec, who is on the Maxwell Award and Walter Camp Player of the Year Watch Lists.
