CHESTNUT HILL, Mass. -- Boston College starting pitcher Chris Flynn (Nauagatuck, Conn.) and first baseman Joe Vetrano (Shrub Oak, N.Y.) were each named to the ABCA/Rawlings Northeast All-Region Second Team. This year marks the fourth consecutive season an Eagle has earned All-ABCA honors.
Flynn, a graduate transfer from Division III Roger Williams, was also an All-ACC Second Team pick this season. He anchored the BC rotation from the Saturday spot with a 7-3 record, 4.34 earned run average and 84 strikeouts in 74.2 innings pitched. His seven wins were the most by an Eagle since 2019 and 84 strikeouts are the eighth most in a single season in BC history.
