CHESTNUT HILL, Mass. – Five former members of the Boston College men's soccer program have signed professional contracts, including three which are affiliated with MLS clubs.
Victor Souza signed an MLS NEXT Pro contract with the New England Revolution, who drafted him 39th overall in the 2023 MLS SuperDraft in December. Souza was named to the All-ACC Third Team in each of his final two seasons on the Heights. The defender closed his career with 48 NCAA starts and nearly 4,400 minutes played.
Souza's classmate Amos Shapiro-Thompson inked an MLS NEXT Pro contract with the New York Red Bulls, who selected the former BC captain with the 79th pick in the MLS SuperDraft.
