STORRS, Conn. – The No. 14 Boston College baseball team led the whole game for their sixth ranked win of the season, taking down the No. 20 Connecticut Huskies 6-3 on Tuesday night. The Eagles improve to 18-5 with their second straight top-25 win.
After a scoreless first, Boston College took the lead with Nick Wang driving in Patrick Roche on a double-play ball. Facing runners on first and second in the bottom of the frame, the Eagles turned a 4-3 inning-ending double play to remain up.
The bats came alive in the fourth, started by a Patrick Roche double.
