CHESTNUT HILL, Mass. – Sammy Taber and Julia Pellerin scored twice in the 7-3 win over Merrimack on Saturday afternoon.
The Eagles scored three goals in the first period. Sammy Taber opened up the scoring four minutes into the game on a power-play opportunity. Julia Pellerin got involved in the action four minutes later. Taber had the final goal of the period, scoring off a Merrimack turnover. The Eagles went into the first intermission with a 3-0 lead.
Molly Jordan and Katie Pyne scored back-to-back goals, early in the second period.
