CHESTNUT HILL, Mass. – Five Boston College women's hockey players have been named to the 2018 United States Women's Hockey Olympic Team. The 23-player squad was announced today during the second intermission of the NHL Winter Classic in New York.
The five Eagles named to the team include: defenseman Cayla Barnes '22 (Eastvale, California), defenseman Kali Flanagan '19 (Burlington, Massachusetts), defenseman Megan Keller '19 (Farmington, Michigan), defenseman Emily Pfalzer '15 (Getzville, New York) and forward Haley Skarupa '16 (Rockville, Maryland).
"We're extremely proud of our Boston College players who made the Olympic team," said Boston College women's hockey head coach Katie Crowley – herself a three-time Olympian (1998, 2002, 2006).
