Fifth Comm Ave Charity Classic Postponed Until 2020

The founders of the Comm Ave Classic, an alumni game between men’s hockey alumni for Boston College and Boston University, announced today that the game will not take place in 2019 due to scheduling conflicts. Plans remain in place to resume the event in 2020. Organized by former BC men’s hockey players Pat Mullane and Andrew Orpik and former BC MIH manager Justin Murphy, the CACC was first played in 2015.

The Comm Ave Classic has become a can’t miss summer event for college hockey fans, who can look forward to watching professional hockey stars like Johnny Gaudreau and Charlie Coyle compete against each other to raise money for Compassionate Care ALS (in honor of Pete Frates and Dick Kelley) and the Travis Roy Foundation.
