The Boston College field hockey team split their weekend with a Friday loss to Louisville and a Sunday win against UMASS. The team lost on Friday 3-2 after taking a 2-0 lead early in the first half. The goals were scored by freshmen Elizabeth Dennehy and Frederique Haverhals. Louisville's attack came quickly after the BC goals, as the Cardinals scored their first goal in the 25th minute before tying the game just two minutes later. The game winning goal came in the 29th minute to cap off a high scoring first half. Despite chances for both teams, neither team was able to convert in the second half and the game ended with a 2-3 loss for the Eagles.
