Chestnut Hill, Mass. -- The Boston College field hockey team welcomes the addition of incoming freshman Frederique Haverhals for the 2015 season.
Haverhals hails from Warmond, The Netherlands and will bolster both the Eagles' defense and midfield next year.
This past season, Haverhals played for H.O.C Gazellen-Combinatie (HGC) in the National League, amassing 12 goals in her tenure with the squad. In 2013, Haverhals led the U-17 Leiden Hockey Club (LOHC) team to the interdistrict championship. She also won an indoor league championship as one of the youngest players on LOHC U-19.
In addition to excelling in field hockey, Haverhals is a sailing and skiing instructor in the offseason.
