Could Boston College use a graduate student quarterback
Notre Dame announced today that graduate student Everett Golson has decided to transfer from the Fighting Irish. Golson started 23 of 25 games during his career at Notre Dame, but was most recently benched in favor of Malik Zaire. He missed the entire 2013 season due an academic infraction. During his time at Notre Dame, Golson threw for 5,850 yards, 41 touchdowns and twenty interceptions. Head Coach Brian Kelly never announced a starter for 2015, but it was mostly believed that Zaire would get the nod.
The news about Golson's isn't really a surprise.
