NEWTON, Mass. – Simon Enstrom scored less than two minutes into the first half and the Boston College men's soccer team held on to defeat Harvard, 1-0, on Tuesday night at the Newton Campus Soccer Field.
The non-conference win moves the Eagles to 4-3-3 overall while Harvard bumps to 3-8-0.
The Crimson had the first service towards goal but the Eagles turned the tables immediately to go up 1-0 in the second minute after Antonio Chavez Borrelli assisted Simon Enstrom's eighth of the season.
To open the second half, BC nearly put another goal away on a nice combination between Trevor Davock and Callum Johnson but Johnson had his point-blank shot saved by Matt Freese and Davock's follow-up shot went wide.
