CHESTNUT HILL, Mass. – Boston College forward Simon Enstrom has been recognized as the Atlantic Coast Conference's men's soccer Co-Offensive Player of the Week. Omir Fernandez of Wake Forest was the other honoree.
Enstrom played a part in all three goals in the Eagles' 3-2 win over conference foe Clemson on Friday night. Enstrom notched five points on two goals and one assist in the victory, which was the first win for BC over Clemson since the 2009 season.
The captain assisted on the game's opening goal, slotting a perfect pass across to Callum Johnson, and then tied the game in the 71st minute before firing home the game-winner with a minute to play.
