LOUISVILLE, Ky. – Boston College won its second straight match by a 5-2 final score on Sunday, defeating Louisville on the road in ACC play for its 13th win of the season. The Eagles (13-7, 3-7 ACC) clinched the victory in No. 6 singles with a three-set win from Reagan Posorske at the Bass-Rudd Tennis Center.
The doubles point was extremely tight and came down to the No. 2 matchup as each team won 6-4 at No. 1 and 3. Laura Lopez and Elene Tsokilauri needed a tiebreaker to beat Raven Neely and Diana Wong 7-6 as Boston College took a 1-0 lead into singles.
