The Eagles fall 2-3 to Syracuse for the second time this season. After trading set wins for the first four, Boston College is unable to hold on in the fifth to take home the win. The first set saw Syracuse start with the lead, then remain neck and neck, trading the lead throughout. The Eagles were then able to regain the lead after a three point run at 23-21. Amaka Chukwujekwu secured BC’s lead with a solo block, earning the match win at 25-23.
The second set was also a tight one, but with the Orange to maintain their lead for the entire set.
