TOWSON, Md. – In front of a sellout crowd at Towson University, the No. 4 Boston College lacrosse team upset undefeated No. 1 North Carolina, 11-10, at Johnny Unitas Stadium in the NCAA Semifinal.
The Eagles become the third team to make four consecutive NCAA Championship games, joining Maryland and Northwestern.
Rachel Hall had arguably her best game of the year, making 11 saves on 10 shots, while Jenn Medjid scored four on the offensive end to lead BC.
The Eagles found themselves in a hole early, down 3-1 just six minutes in, but used a 4-0 run during the middle part of the first half to take a 6-4 lead.
