Honeyman hits third home run of the weekend in lopsided loss.
BRIGHTON, Mass. – The Boston College baseball team suffered an 18-1 defeat to No. 19 Virginia in front of 3,028 at Disharoon Park on Saturday evening. The Eagles fell to 7-10 overall and 1-4 in the ACC, while the Cavaliers improved to 18-1 and 4-1.
UVA put eight runs on the board in the bottom of the second and never looked back. Catcher Kyle Teel had the big blow with a grand slam; the first of five Cavalier home runs on the day.
