SYRACUSE, N.Y. – Boston College secured sixth place in the ACC with an 88-81 road win at Syracuse on Sunday afternoon in the final game of the regular season at the Carrier Dome. It is BC's highest finished in the conference since the 2008-09 team placed fifth with a 7-7 conference record.
Boston College is now 18-11 overall and 11-7 in the ACC. The Eagles will play the winner of Miami-Clemson on Thursday at 8 p.m. in the ACC Tournament. Syracuse dropped to 15-14 overall and 9-9 in the ACC.
Sophomore Taylor Soule 26 points and eight rebounds while senior Taylor Ortlepp tallied her season-high 18 points as she hit four three-pointers.
