CORAL GABLES, Fla. –The Boston College volleyball team (15-6, 6-2 ACC) prevented a comeback attempt from Miami (8-8, 4-4 ACC), forcing five sets and earning their first win over the Hurricanes since 2007 on Sunday afternoon at the Knight Sports Complex. The win marks the first-ever over Miami on the road and snaps an 18-match losing streak in the series for BC.
The team hit at a .253 percentage to Miami's .183, led by a double-double from sophomore with 18 kills and 12 digs. Junior followed behind Strawberry with 14 kills and a .324 clip on the day.
