CHESTNUT HILL, Mass. – The Boston College women's cross country team opens the season on Saturday in Smithfield, R.I., at the Nassaney Memorial Invitational, hosted by Bryant University.
"We are excited and looking forward to the start of the 2018 season," assistant coach Julie Heyde said. "We feel this team is one that is prepared and eager to have a stronger showing than 2017."
BC returns its top individuals in captains Paige Duca, who ran at the 2018 Indoor NCAA Track & Field Championships and the first round of the 2018 Outdoor NCAA Track & Field Championships, and Isabelle Kennedy, as well as seniors Delia Hayes and Sarah Marvin.
