CARRABASSETT VALLEY, Maine – The Boston College skiing team opened the EISA season over the weekend at the Colby Carnival with the women earning fifth overall in Friday's giant slalom. The men took ninth in the GS at Sugarloaf Mountain.
Freshmen and had stellar EISA debuts for the Eagles, placing 10th and 18th respectively on Friday. rounded out the scoring positions with 26th place while junior captain finished 34th.
On the men's side, put together a pair of consistent GS runs and placed 17th, followed by (26th) and (36th).
Charleston led the way in the slalom, which was postponed to Sunday due to dangerous wind chills, moving up nearly 20 spots in the second run to finish 25th.
