The Eagles took the first set 25-17, keeping their lead by a large margin almost the entire set, starting out with a score of 8-1. The Hokies had a five point run late in the set, but still only closed the margin to 8, which held until the end. BC finished the win with Amaka Chukwujekwu’s solo block, which would be the only one of the evening.
Set number two began in a similar fashion, with the Eagles taking the lead early on. Virginia Tech was able to keep the score closer this time, bringing it within two, but Clare Naughton’s kill pushed the Eagles to their second win with a score of 25-22.
